Vice President, Cash Equity Trader

About the role

Execute institutional equity orders across Canadian and cross-border markets, provide client liquidity and pricing, and manage firm capital, positions, and trading risk. Support ECM and program trading activity, collaborate across capital markets teams, share market intelligence, and maintain regulatory compliance while improving execution quality and workflows. Requires 5–8 years of institutional cash equity trading experience, a strong record of risk-adjusted performance, and deep knowledge of Canadian and North American market structure. Candidates need CIRO Trader registration or eligibility, relevant Canadian securities courses, proficiency with trading and market-data platforms, strong client-facing skills, and an undergraduate degree; CFA progress is an asset.
